A method, device and system for detecting the presence of microorganisms in an air sample taken from either a gaseous or liquid environment are described. The method including the steps of a) capturing with a filter microorganisms from the air sample; b) recovering from the filter with a liquid at least some microorganisms captured by the filter in step a); and c) detecting the presence of the at least some microorganisms in the liquid. The device and system include a chamber through which the air sample to be examined is circulated; a filter for capturing microorganisms susceptible to be present in the air sample; a liquid cooperating with the filter for recovering captured microorganisms therefrom; and a detector for detecting the presence of microorganisms in the liquid. The method, device and system are particularly useful for the continuous and on-site control, monitoring and detection of microorganisms, such as bacteria, parasites, fungi, viruses and the like, which may be present in an air sample, taken from an air duct of a ventilation system.
La présente invention concerne un procédé, un dispositif et un système de détection de la présence de microorganismes dans un échantillon d'air prélevé dans un environnement gazeux ou liquide. Ledit procédé consiste à : a) capturer à l'aide d'un filtre des microorganismes de l'échantillon d'air; b) à récupérer à partir du filtre, à l'aide d'un liquide, au moins certains microorganismes capturés par le filtre lors de l'étape a); et c) à détecter la présence d'au moins certains microorganismes dans le liquide. Ledit dispositif et ledit système comprennent une chambre dans laquelle on fait circuler l'échantillon d'air à examiner; un filtre permettant de capturer des microorganismes susceptibles d'être présents dans l'échantillon d'air; un liquide coopérant avec le filtre permettant de récupérer les microorganismes capturés; et un détecteur permettant de détecter la présence de microorganismes dans le liquide. Ledit procédé, ledit dispositif et ledit système sont particulièrement utiles pour le contrôle, la surveillance et la détection sur site, en continu, de microorganismes, tels que des bactéries, des parasites, des champignons, des virus et analogues, qui peuvent être présents dans un échantillon d'air prélevé dans un conduit d'air d'un système de ventilation.
