On trempe après austénitisation avec une refroidissement à une vitesse > 0,5~C/s entre une température > AC3 et comprise entre T = 800 - 270xC* - 9OxMn -37xNi - 70XCr - 83x(Mo + W/2) et T-50~C; puis à une vitesse à coeur Vr < 1150xep-17 entre T et 100~C, ep = épaisseur de la tôle en mm ; on refroidit jusqu'à la température ambiante. Tôle obtenue.
