A process and apparatus are provided for manufacturing complex parts and devices which utilize a CAD environment to design a part or device to be created (Figure 1); Boolean, scaling, smoothing, mirroring, or other operations to modify the CAD design; a software interface to convert the CAD designed part (Data Process System) or device into a heterogeneous material and multi-part assembly model (Design Input Model) which can be used for multi- nozzle printing; and a multi-nozzle system to print the designed part or device using different, specialized nozzles (Tissue substitutes).

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif pour la réalisation d'éléments et de dispositifs complexes en faisant appel à un environnement CAO pour la conception correspondante. On décrit des opérations booléennes, de mise à l'échelle, de lissage, d'effet miroir ou autres visant à modifier la conception CAO ; une interface logicielle visant à convertir l'élément de conception CAO (système de traitement de données) ou le dispositif de conception CAO en modèle hétérogène d'ensemble matériel et multi-éléments (modèle de saisie de conception) que l'on peut utiliser pour l'impression à plusieurs buses. On décrit enfin un système à plusieurs buses pour l'impression de l'élément ou du dispositif en question au moyen de différentes buses spécialisées (substituts tissulaires).
