The invention is directed to methods of treating spasticity in patient having a neurological disease comprising ad-ministering to a patient in need of such treatment a tizanidine formulation providing a tizanidine blood concentration of at least about 900 pg/ml for about five hours, wherein the formulation is administered prior to bedtime.
