The invention relates to a novel use of a complex (scuPA/suPAR) which has a thrombolytic activity under physiological conditions and in the presence of IgG or of at least one IgG-derived peptide, which complex comprises a single chain urokinase type plasminogen activator (scuPA) and a soluble urokinase plasminogen activator receptor (suPAR), in the preparation of thrombolytic pharmaceutical compositions for the treatment and/or prevention of thromboembolic disorders associated with the formation of fibrin clots. Pharmaceutical compositions for the treatment and/or prevention of f thromboembolic disorders associated with the formation of fibrin clots comprising the scuPA/suPAR complex are also subject of the invention. Further, the invention relates to a method of treating and/or preventing a thromboembolic disorder associated with the formation of fibrin clots in a patient in need of such treatment by administering to the patient a therapeutically effective amount of a complex comprising a single chain urokinase type plasminogen activator (scuPA) and a soluble urokinase plasminogen activator receptor (suPAR), or of a pharmaceutical composition of the invention.

Cette invention a pour objet une nouvelle utilisation d'un complexe (scuPA/suPAR) qui présente une activité thrombolytique dans des conditions physiologiques et en présence de gammaglobuline (IgG) ou d'au moins un peptide dérive d'IgG. Ce complexe comprend un activateur de plasminogène du type urokinase monocaténaire (scuPA) et un récepteur de l'activateur de plasminogène urokinase soluble (suPAR), on l'utilise dans la préparation de compositions pharmaceutiques thrombolytiques utilisées pour traiter et/ou prévenir les troubles thromboemboliques associés à la formation de caillots fibrineux. Des compositions pharmaceutiques permettant de traiter et/ou de prévenir les troubles thromboemboliques associés à la formation de caillots fibrineux font également partie de cette invention. Dans le cadre d'un procédé de traitement et/ou de prophylaxie d'un trouble thromboembolique associé à la formation de caillots fibrineux chez un patient nécessitant un tel traitement, on administre au patient une quantité thérapeutiquement efficace d'un complexe contenant un activateur de plasminogène du type urokinase monocaténaire (scuPA) et un récepteur d'activateur de plasminogène urokinase soluble (suPAR) ou d'une composition pharmaceutique présentée dans cette invention.
