A duct heater control module for controlling an electric duct heater in an air duct. Current controllers present the difficulty that they must be wired separately, increasing the cost of production and maintenance. The present device solves this problem by introducing a micro-controller to interconnect several components withm the electrical box of a duct heater control module. The duct heater control module includes a microcontroller for receiving an air flow signal from an air flow sensor for controlling the electric duct heater in response thereto. The microcontroller controls short cycling of the current switching relays, determines the nature of the input signal from a thermostat, and drives a status display.
La présente invention concerne un module de commande de chauffe-conduit permettant de commander un chauffe-conduit électrique dans une conduite d'air. Les appareils de commande actuels présentent l'inconvénient de devoir être branchés séparément, augmentant ainsi les coûts de production et de maintenance. Le dispositif de la présente invention résout ce problème par l'introduction d'un microcontrôleur pour interconnecter plusieurs composants avec la boîte électrique d'un module de commande de chauffe-conduit. Le module de commande de chauffe-conduit comprend un microcontrôleur permettant de recevoir un signal de débit d'air provenant d'un débitmètre d'air permettant de commander le chauffe-conduit électrique en réponse à celui-ci. Le microcontrôleur commande le fonctionnement en cycles courts des relais de commutation de courant, détermine la nature du signal d'entrée provenant d'un thermostat, et assure un affichage du statut.
