Dual-function additives that enhance fluid loss control and the stability of viscoelastic surfactant fluids, and their associated methods of use in subterranean formations, are described. In one embodiment, the methods comprise: providing a viscoelastic surfactant fluid that comprises an aqueous base fluid, a viscoelastic surfactant, and a dual-function additive that comprises a soap component; and introducing the viscoelastic surfactant fluid into at least a portion of a subterranean formation.

L'invention concerne des additifs bifonctionnels utilisés pour renforcer le contrôle de pertes de fluides et la stabilité de fluides visco-élastiques, ainsi que des méthodes associées pour les utiliser dans des formations souterraines. Dans un mode de réalisation, les méthodes comprennent les étapes suivantes: préparer un fluide tensioactif visco-élastique comprenant un fluide de base aqueux, un tensioactif visco-élastique, ainsi qu'un additif bifonctionnel comprenant un constituant savonneux, puis introduire le fluide tensioactif visco-élastique dans au moins une partie d'une formation souterraine.
