The invention relates to a transport roller, provided with a drive unit, whereby said transport roller (1) has an outer surface (2) mad from an elastic material (18, 19, 20). The transport roller (1) rotates about a rotational axis (3) and is housed in the drive unit housing (17). The transport roller (1) comprises at least one marking body (11) visible in the outer surface (2) made from an elastic material the wearing properties of which correspond to those of the elastic material (18, 19, 20) on the outer surface (2).

Rouleau de transport (1) pourvu d'une unité d'entraînement associée, qui comporte une surface périphérique (2) constituée d'une matière élastique (18, 19, 20). Ledit rouleau de transport (1), qui tourne autour d'un axe de rotation (3), est monté dans le carter (17) de l'unité d'entraînement. Ce rouleau (1) contient au moins un élément de repère (11) coloré, visible dans la surface périphérique (2) et constitué d'une matière élastique dont les propriétés d'usure correspondent à celles de la matière élastique (18, 19, 20) constituant la surface périphérique (2).
