A method for controlling the CO2 addition in a wet end process utilizing CO2 addition is disclosed. The method includes combining a papermaking composition and CO2 to create a CO2-enriched papermaking composition, measuring or estimating at least one electrical property of either the papermaking composition or of the CO2-enriched papermaking composition, and controlling the rate of addition of CO2 to maintain the at least one electrical property within a pre-selected range of values.

Procédé de régulation de l'addition de CO¿2? au niveau de la partie humide d'un processus comprenant l'addition de CO¿2?. Ce procédé consiste à associer une composition destinée à la fabrication du papier et du CO¿2? pour produire une composition de papier enrichie en CO¿2?, à mesurer ou à estimer au moins une propriété électrique de ladite composition de fabrication de papier ou de la composition enrichie en CO¿2?, et à réguler la vitesse d'addition du CO¿2? pour maintenir la ou les propriétés électriques en deçà d'une plage de valeurs présélectionnées.
