ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method of reducing spillage when pouring liquid out from a first container in a second container having a narrow inlet opening, including the following steps. Firstly, place an inverted funnel-form screw cap onto the first container, the funnel-form screw cap having a flow channel sealed by a frangible membrane. Secondly, inverting the first container and inserting the funnel-form screw cap into the inlet opening of the second container. Thirdly, effecting relative rotation of the funnel-form screw cap and the first container thereby rupturing the frangible membrane and allowing liquid in the first container to flow through the flow channel of the funnel- form screw cap into the second container.
