The invention relates to a method for generating a cipher key for a cryptographic method in a secure and distributed manner, whereby a cipher key and a public key are created from a random number (seed) according to a predetermined deterministic method. According to said method, the seed is created on the user side through the use of values which are known only to the user and a public key which is transmitted beforehand by the confidence station. Generation information suitable for generating the seed, from which the seed can be derived in a deterministic manner by the confidence station that uses information only known to it, is created on the user side and transmitted to the confidence station for parallel creation of the seed.
L'invention concerne un procédé de génération sûre répartie d'une clé de codage pour un procédé de cryptographie, une clé de codage ainsi qu'une clé publique étant créées à partir d'un grand nombre aléatoire (graine) au moyen d'un procédé déterministe prédéfini. Selon ce procédé, la graine est créée au niveau de l'utilisateur par inclusion de grandeurs uniquement connues de l'utilisateur et d'une clé publique transmise au préalable par le poste de confiance. Une information de génération adaptée à la génération de la graine, à partir de laquelle la graine peut être déduite de manière déterministe par le poste de confiance par inclusion d'informations uniquement connues de ce poste de confiance, est créée au niveau de l'utilisateur et transmise au poste de confiance pour la création parallèle de la graine.
