ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An apparatus for use in attaching a line to an attachment end of a ground anchor is described. This apparatus includes a cup shaped body having an interior cavity, an exterior surface, and an access opening whereby access is gained to the interior cavity. The attachment end of a ground anchor is attached to the exterior surface of the body. A line is attached to a chain disposed within the interior cavity of the body. The apparatus enables the ground anchor to be embedded into a groundsurface with the attachment end below the groundsurface and the cup shaped body flush with the groundsurface.
