A switch box for railway, tramway, or similar comprising a drive unit (M, 3, 4, 5, 5', 5", 5"', b) for the shifting motion of the blades (A1, A1', A2, A2') and at least one group of linear transmission (12, 20, 21, 24) of the drive motion to the blades, movable means (24, 124) to lock the blades in their respective closed positions. Said groups are housed in a box (1) which has substantially the dimensions and the shape of a sleeper and which is fitted in the track in place of and with the function of a sleeper. The switch box has movable means (23, 24, 124) to lock the blades (A1, A1', A2, A2') in their corresponding closed positions. Said means (23, 24, 124) are associated with their respective blade (A1, A2) and arranged inside the box (1) in the area of the same and are brought automatically into active locking position when the corresponding blade (A1, A2') reaches the closed position, while they are automatically disengaged on activation of the switch box to switch the blade into the position of closure of the blade (A2', A1) opposite.

L'invention porte sur un boîtier de manoeuvre pour chemin de fer, tramway ou analogue comprenant une unité de commande (M, 3, 4, 5, 5', 5'', 5''', 6) du déplacement latéral des lames (A1, A1', A2, A2'), et au moins un groupe (12, 20, 21, 24) de transmission linéaire du déplacement commandé des lames, un dispositif mobile (24, 124) qui bloque les lames dans leurs positions respectives de fermeture. Selon cette invention, ces groupes sont placés dans un boîtier (1) qui a pratiquement les dimensions et la forme d'une traverse et qui est adapté dans la voie pour remplacer la traverse. Le boîtier de manoeuvre comporte un dispositif mobile (23, 24, 124) qui bloque les lames (A1, A1', A2, A2') dans leurs positions de fermeture correspondantes. Ces dispositifs (23, 24, 124) sont associés à leur lame respective (A1, A2) et disposés à l'intérieur du boîtier (1) dans la même zone et sont amenés automatiquement en position active de blocage lorsque la lame correspondante (A1, A2') atteint la position fermée, et sont dégagés automatiquement lors de l'activation du boîtier de manoeuvre pour commuter la lame dans la position de fermeture de la lame (A2', A1) opposée.
