A method of making packaging for light colored fruits includes steps of providing a base material (18) having a steel substrate (20), a first layer on tin material (22) on a first side of the substrate (20) and a second layer of tin material (24) on a second side of the substrate (20), forming the base material into a can body for a DWI can having a bottom surface and a sidewall comprising an exterior surface that has a first coating including tin and an interior surface having a second coating also including tin, inserting foodstuffs into the can body so that the foodstuffs are exposed to the tin surface, and applying a top end to the can body.
L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de produire un conditionnement pour des fruits de couleur claire. Ce procédé consiste à préparer un matériau (18) de base comprenant un substrat (20) d'acier, à disposer une première couche de matériau (22) à base d'étain sur la première face du substrat (20) et une seconde couche de matériau (24) à base d'étain sur la seconde face du substrat (20), à former le matériau de base pour produire un corps de boîte de type embouti-étiré comprenant une surface de fond, et une paroi latérale dont la surface extérieure est recouverte d'un premier revêtement comprenant de l'étain, et dont la surface intérieure est recouverte d'un second revêtement comprenant également de l'étain, à introduire des produits alimentaires dans le corps de boîte de manière que ces produits entrent en contact avec la surface étamée, et à appliquer l'élément supérieur sur le corps de boîte.
