The invention relates to a method for mining subsurface deposits using an extraction machine, whereby an upper (1) and a lower drift (2) are driven which extend at both sides of the deposit to be mined, and a preliminary bore hole (3) is sunk between the two drifts (1, 2). The inventive method is characterized by securing a supporting device (4) at the mouth of the preliminary bore hole in the upper drift (1). An extraction machine (5) supported by the supporting device (4) is positioned at the mouth of the preliminary bore hole (3), aligned in the longitudinal direction of the preliminary bore hole (3), and the extraction machine (5) is driven from the upper drift (1) towards the lower drift (2) according to the course of the preliminary bore hole (3).

L'invention concerne un procédé d'exploitation de gisements souterrains au moyen d'une machine d'extraction, procédé consistant à creuser une voie d'abattage supérieure (1) et une voie d'abattage inférieure (2) qui sont situées des deux côtés du gisement à exploiter, et à forer un trou provisoire (3) entre ces deux voies d'abattage (1, 2), cependant qu'un dispositif d'appui (4) est établi à l'ouverture du trou provisoire dans la voie d'abattage supérieure (1).
