A folding auxiliary seat assembly for a tractor cab includes a brace plate pivotally connected to interior structure of the cab, a main cushion hingedly connected to the brace plate, and an outer cushion hingedly connected to the main cushion. A latch pawl extending from the brace plate cooperates with a spring latch on a side wall of the interior structure to latch the assembly in a retracted position. In the retracted position, the outer cushion is folded beneath the main cushion, and the brace plate is pivoted to a vertical position. The main cushion has retainer sockets formed on an under side thereof which are positioned to receive retainer pins mounted on a top wall of the interior structure when the seat assembly is in a deployed position. In the deployed position, the outer cushion is folded out to a coplanar relationship with the main cushion, and the brace plate is angled away from the side wall of the supporting interior structure.
La présente invention vise un siège pliant auxiliaire pour cabine de tracteur, comportant un gousset d'appui de type pivotant fixé à la structure, un coussin principal monté sur charnière sur le gousset d'appui et un coussin externe monté sur charnière sur le coussin principal. Un cliquet monté sur le gousset d'appui et couplé à un linguet à ressort monté sur la paroi interne de la structure permet de verrouiller l'ensemble en position non déployée. Dans cette position, le coussin externe est plié sous le coussin principal et le gousset se trouve relevé en position verticale. Le coussin principal comporte des douilles ménagées sur sa face inférieure et positionnées de manière à recevoir, lorsqu'il est en position déployée, les chevilles de retenue fixées sur une surface de la structure intérieure. Dans cette position, le coussin externe se trouve dans le même plan que le coussin principal et le gousset d'appui est placé à l'horizontale par rapport à la structure intérieure sur laquelle il est fixé.
