An implantable support apparatus (10) includes a sheet (12) of flexible biocompatible material. Apertures (26, 28, 30, 32) are formed through end portions (16, 14) of the sheet (12) to form suture holes. Relatively larger apertures (42) are formed through an intermediate portion of the sheet (12) located between the end portions (16, 14) of the sheet (12) to promote adhesion and improve integration of the apparatus (10) into the patient's body.
