The invention concerns an assembly for manufacturing an airbag module for the passenger seat in a motor vehicle. It is characterized by a tubular element (1) that accommodates a cylindrical reservoir compressed gas and by two identically shaped frontal components (2) in the form of segments of extruded section that can be forced like hose clips against the tubular element such as to laterally demarcate space for accommodating a folded airbag inside the tubular element (1). The upper area (4) of the frontal components (2) in one embodiment is openwork (5). Auxiliary tubes can be tensioned between the frontal components (2). A web (7) of material that wraps around the tubular element (1) can be secured to the auxiliary tubes, laterally demarcating the space for accommodating the airbag paralleling the axis of the tubular element (1).
Assemblage pour la fabrication d'un sac gonflable destiné au fauteuil passager d'un véhicule motorisé, comprenant : un élément tubulaire (1) dans lequel s'insère un réservoir cylindrique à gaz comprimé, et deux éléments frontaux identiques (2) ayant la forme de deux sections de profils filés, qui peuvent appliquer une pression, comme des colliers de serrage, contre l'élément tubulaire afin de créer un espace latéral destiné à accommoder un sac gonflable plié, à l'intérieur de l'élément tubulaire (1). Dans une version, la partie supérieure (4) des éléments frontaux (2) est ajourée (5). Une bande (7) de matériau entourant l'élément tubulaire (1) peut être fixée aux tubes auxiliaires et délimiter un espace pour accommoder le sac gonflable dans le même axe que l'élément tubulaire (1).
