A distributed key encryption system and method is provided in which a key storage server provides a session key to the source and destination computers by encrypting the session key with unique distributed private keys that are associated with the respective source and destination computers by unique private key identifiers The destination computer then decrypts the encrypted session key using it's distributed private key and then decrypts the communication using the decrypted session key.

La présente invention concerne un système et un procédé de chiffrement à clé distribuée dans lesquels un serveur de stockage de clé fournit une clé de session aux ordinateurs source et destinataire en chiffrant la clé de session avec des clés privées uniques distribuées qui sont associées aux ordinateurs source et destinataire respectifs par des identifiants de clé privés uniques. L'ordinateur destinataire déchiffre ensuite la clé de session chiffrée en utilisant sa clé privée distribuée puis il déchiffre la communication en utilisant la clé de session déchiffrée.
