ABSTRACT The object of the present invention is to develop a polycarbonate resin composition excellent in transparency and flame retardance and a process for producing the same. The present invention relates to a polycarbonate resin composition which comprises (A) polycarbonate-based copolymer, (B) glass, and (C) polycarbonate resin, the difference (absolute value) between the refractive index of the mixed resin of (A) and (C ), and that of (B) glass being not more than 0.01. The present invention also relates to a process for producing a polycarbonate-based resin composition which comprises kneading (A) polycarbonate-based copolymer, (B) glass. and (C) polycarbonate resin. and adjusting the difference (absolute value) between the refractive index of the mixed resin of (A) and (C), and that of glass to not more than 0.01, by selecting kinds and proportions of the comonomer unit in (A) polycarbonate-based copolymer. The polycarbonate resin composition of the present invention is excellent in transparency and flame retardance, and effectively utilized as the material for various molding products which are extensively used in the fields of electric or electronic appliances and cars. - 60 -
