A process and device for pressure-controlled manipulation of a fluid (4a), in particular for medicinal applications. The device comprises a receptacle (1a) of variable volume to contain the fluid (4a), a pressure creation device (2a) for producing pressure on the fluid (4a), an opening (1c) for admitting and/or discharging the fluid (4a), a measuring channel (2e) of prescribed cross- section connected to the receptacle (1a), and a buffer (2d) of prescribed volume which communicates with the measuring channel (2e), the measuring channel (2e) and the buffer (2d) being filled with a compressible medium. The pressure creation device is preferably a piston (2a) which can be pushed into the receptacle (1a), the piston being sealed to the inner wall of the receptacle (1a) by a sealing means (2c). According to the invention, in particular medicinal syringes are improved in that a fluid (4a) can be injected with particular evenness and at a pressure which can be precisely controlled, for example into a cavity (10) a body (9). The presssure is read or measured by determining the position of the boundary layer (8) between the fluid (4a) and the compressible medium in the measuring channel (2e), e.g. by means of a scale (2k). The size of the buffer (2d) in relation to the internal diameter of the measuring channel (2e) determines the precision of measurement and the damping properties at the time of injection.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif permettant la manipulation sous pression régulée d'un fluide (4a), en particulier pour applications médicales. Le dispositif comprend un récipient (1a) de volume variable, destiné à contenir le fluide (4a), un dispositif (2a) servant à exercer une pression sur le fluide (4a), une ouverture (1c) par laquelle entre et/ou sort le fluide (4a), un canal de mesure (2e) d'une section prédéterminée, relié au récipient (1a), et un tampon (2d) d'un volume prédéterminé qui communique avec le canal de mesure (2e), le canal de mesure (2e) et le tampon (2d) étant remplis d'une substance compressible. Le dispositif de production de pression est, de préférence, un piston (2a) qui peut être poussé dans le récipient (1a), l'étanchéité entre le piston et la paroi intérieure du récipient (1a) étant assurée par un moyen d'étanchéité (2c). Selon l'invention, des seringues médicales, en particulier, sont améliorées en ce qu'un fluide (4a) peut être injecté de façon particulièrement régulière et à une pression qui peut être régulée avec précision, par exemple dans la cavité (10) d'un corps (9). La pression est lue ou mesurée par détermination de la position de la couche limite (8) se trouvant entre le fluide (4a) et la substance compressible se trouvant dans le canal de mesure (2e), par exemple au moyen d'un échelle (2a). La taille du tampon (2d) par rapport au diamètre intérieur du canal de mesure (2e) détermine la précision de mesure et les propriétés d'amortissement au moment de l'injection.
