The invention concerns a method for real-time frequency analysis of a non- stationary signal and a corresponding analysing circuit. The invention is characterised in that it consists in: sampling the signal, digitising it, and breaking it down into sub-bands. In each sub-band, modelling the signal with an autoregressive filter whereof the transfer function is in the form 1/A(z). Using a time- and order-recursive adaptive method, in calculating all the polynomials A(z) having a degree included between 1 and a maximum value; estimating the order of the model and retaining the polynomial having said order; calculating the roots of said polynomial and monitoring the components, thereby obtaining the frequency and amplitude of the sinusoidal components of the signal. The invention is applicable in aeronautics, electrodynamics, mechanics, seismics, zoology and other fields.

Procédé d'analyse fréquentielle en temps réel d'un signal non stationnaire et circuit d'analyse correspondant. Selon l'invention, on échantillonne le signal, on le numérise, on le décompose en sous-bandes. Dans chaque sous-bande, on modélise le signal par un filtre autorégressif dont la fonction de transfert est de la forme 1/A(z). Par une méthode adaptative récursive en temps et en ordre on calcule tous les polynômes A(z) ayant un degré compris entre 1 et une valeur maximale. On estime l'ordre du modèle et on retient le polynôme ayant cet ordre. On calcule les racines de ce polynôme et on effectue un suivi des composantes. On obtient ainsi la fréquence et l'amplitude des composantes sinusoïdales du signal. Application en aéronautique, électromagnétique, mécanique, sismique, zoologie, etc.
