A device for transdermal drug delivery and administration of differing dosages at specific times of the day automatically pursuant to a pre-programmed dosage profile, includes a control and display unit, a two-part dispensing mechanism, a drug reservoir, an administration element, and a solvent removal element. The dispensing mechanism may be a peristaltic pump having an active portion with a motor, a roller, a mounting plate and a detachable passive portion with tubing and a housing. The motor and roller are mounted in the reusable portion of the delivery device with the control unit and a power source. The speed of the micromotor is controlled by the control unit, so that the turning speed of the roller is controlled which, in turn, controls the flow rate to the administration. The passive portion and drug reservoir are detachable along with the administration element for attaching a new dosing reservoir.
La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'apport de médicament transdermique et d'administration de différentes posologies à des moments spécifiques de la journée en application automatique d'un profil posologique préprogrammé. Ce dispositif comprend une unité de commande et d'affichage, un mécanisme de distribution en deux parties, un réservoir à médicament, un élément d'administration et un élément d'élimination de solvant. Le mécanisme de distribution peut être une pompe péristaltique dotée d'une partie active pourvue d'un moteur, d'un galet, d'une plaque de fixation et d'une partie passive détachable comportant un tuyau et un corps. Le moteur et le galet sont installés dans la partie réutilisable du dispositif d'apport avec l'unité de commande et une source de puissance. La vitesse du micromoteur est commandée par l'unité de commande, de sorte que la vitesse de rotation du galet soit commandée, ce qui à son tour, commande le débit pour l'administration. La partie passive et le réservoir à médicament peuvent être séparés ainsi que l'élément d'administration en vue de fixer un nouveau réservoir doseur.
