A wood waste bin spreader cover for conventional waste bins forms an enclosed cover over the waste bin, having a raised roof. An auger running longitudinally along the roof under its peak carries waste away from an inlet at one end of the auger and roof peak to fill the bin evenly. When the bin is full the auger pushes the waste through a tunnel to open an overload relief door in a gable at the far end of the roof from the inlet. This door has a 'FULL' indicator blade which slides down when open to indicate the bin is full. A trip switch activating a signal light or off switch for the system is conveniently incorporated in the door.
L'invention vise un couvercle pour réservoirs à déchets de bois conventionnels, qui forme une enceinte fermée sur le réservoir et qui comporte un toit surélevé. Une tarière disposée longitudinalement par rapport au toit, sous le faîte, transporte les déchets entrant par une ouverture située à une extrémité de la tarière et du faîte de manière à remplir le réservoir de façon uniforme. Lorsque le réservoir est plein, la tarière pousse les déchets dans un tunnel pour ouvrir une trappe de décharge se trouvant dans un pignon situé à l'extrémité du toit la plus éloignée de l'ouverture. Cette trappe comporte une lame portant la mention « PLEIN » coulissant vers le bas lorsqu'elle est ouverte pour indiquer que le réservoir est rempli. Un commutateur à bascule activant un signal lumineux ou un commutateur de mise hors circuit du système peut facilement être intégré à la trappe.
