A process for preparing a sugar nucleotide from a nucleotide by using a yeast cell, characterized in that both a nucleotide diphosphate/sugar pyrophosphorylase and a sugar 1-phosphate are present in the reaction system. According to this process, various sugar nucleotides, which have been prepared only in low productivity by the conventional yeast cell process, can be efficiently prepared.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour préparer un glyconucléotide à partir de nucléotides en utilisant une cellule de levure, caractérisé en ce qu'un diphosphate/glycopyrophosphorylase nucléotidique et un glyco-1-phosphate sont présents dans le système de réaction. Ce procédé permet de préparer efficacement divers glyconucléotides qui étaient jusqu'à présent préparés uniquement avec un faible rendement par le procédé classique avec la cellule de levure.
