A roaming user requesting access to a roamed network is not given the service until it is first validated. The roamed network queries the HLR of the user through a SCP and provides the service only if the HLR validates the user.

Selon l'invention, un abonné itinérant demandant l'accès à un réseau d'itinérance ne reçoit pas ledit service sans validation préalable. A cet effet, ledit réseau d'itinérance interroge le registre HLR de l'utilisateur via un point de commande de service, et fournit le service uniquement si le registre HLR valide l'abonné.
