Provided is a composition or kit for diagnosing brain tumors, preventing brain tumors, treating brain tumors, or monitoring brain tumor treatment progression by using UCB-MSCs.

L'invention concerne une composition de thérapie génique permettant de transférer un gène thérapeutique, un gène marqueur ou un mélange de ceux-ci vers une cellule qui exprime l'interleukine 8(IL-8) or GRO-a et qui induit un tropisme de cellules souches mésenchymateuses isolées de sang de cordon ombilical et/ou les cellules souches mésenchymateuses développées à partir de ces cellules souches mésenchymateuses (UCB-MSC), la composition de traitement cellulaire comprenant des UCB-MSC.
