The invention relates to a method of processing a complex signal comprising - acquisition of a signal in the form of complex numbers; - determination on the basis of the complex signal acquired of the associated hypercomplex components, said components corresponding to at least derivatives with respect to time of the phase of the complex signal acquired; - processing of the hypercomplex signal thus determined in such a way that the signal resulting from the processing comprises a greater number of components than the number of components of the signal acquired.

L'invention concerne un procédé de traitement d'un signal complexe comprenant - une acquisition d'un signal sous la forme de nombres complexes; - une détermination à partir du signal complexe acquis des composantes hypercomplexes associées, lesdites composantes correspondant à au moins des dérivées par rapport au temps de la phase du signal complexe acquis; - un traitement du signal hypercomplexe ainsi déterminé de manière à ce que le signal résultant du traitement comprenne un nombre de composante supérieur au nombre de composante du signal acquis.
