The invention relates to novel 2H-1-pyran-2-ones of general formula (I), wherein R1 represents an alkyl radical with 2-5 C atoms, a cycloalkyl radical with 4-6 C atoms, a cycloalkyl radical with 4-8 C atoms or an alkoxy alkyl radical with a total of 3-5 C atoms and R2 represents a 2-(3, 4- methylene dioxyphenyl)ethyl radical or a 2-phenyl ethenyl radical substituted with R3, R4 and R5 in positions 3, 4 and 5, whereby independently from each other R3 and R5 represent methoxy or ethoxy and R4 is a straight chain or branched alkoxy radical with 1-5 C atoms, an alkenyl radical with 3-5 C atoms, a cycloalkoxy radical with 4-6 C atoms, a cycloalkyl radical with 4-8 C atoms or an alkoxy alkoxy radical with a total of 3-5 C atoms. The invention also relates to a method for producing said compounds in addition to novel intermediate products and to a method for the production thereof. The novel pyranone derivatives have an anti-convulsive and/or anti-epileptic effect in addition to a neuroprotective effect or act against neurodegenerate diseases. The invention further relates to medicaments containing these compounds.

L'invention concerne de nouvelles 2H-1-pyran-2-ones de la formule générale (I) où R?1¿ représente un reste alkyle avec 2 à 5 atomes de carbone, un reste cycloalkyle avec 4 à 6 atomes de carbone, un reste cycloalkyle-alkyle avec 4 à 8 atomes de carbone ou un reste alcoxyalkyle avec au total 3 à 5 atomes de carbone et R?2¿ représente un reste 2-(3, 4-méthylèndioxyphényl)éthyle ou un reste 2-phényléthényle substitué par R?3¿, R?4¿ et R?5¿ dans les positions 3, 4 et 5; R?3¿ et R?5¿ représentent méthoxy ou éthoxy et R?4¿ représente un reste alcoxy ramifié ou à chaîne linéaire avec 1 à 5 atomes de carbone, un reste alcényloxy avec 3 à 5 atomes de carbone, un reste cycloalcoxy avec 4 à 6 atomes de carbone, un reste cycloalkylalcoxy avec 4 à 8 atomes de carbone ou un reste alcoxyalcoxy avec au total 3 à 5 atomes de carbone. L'invention concerne également un procédé de production de ces composés ainsi que de nouveaux produits intermédiaires et leur procédé de production. Les nouveaux dérivés de pyranone ont une action anticonvulsive et/ou antiépileptique ainsi qu'une action neuroprotective et/ou une action contre les maladies neurodégénératives. L'invention concerne enfin les médicaments qui contiennent ces composés.
