A needleless injection site comprising a housing (16) which defines a fluid passage (56). Disposed within the housing (16) is a reseal member (58) which includes an openable and closable aperture (80), and an expandable and collapsible reservoir (100). The reseal member (58) normally is in a first position in the housing with a closed aperture (80), and a collapsed reservoir (100). The reseal member (58) is deformable such that compressive pressure will move it to a second position, expanding the reservoir (100) and opening the aperture (8) and placing the aperture (80) in communication with the fluid passage (56) and the reservoir. Removing the compressive pressure will facilitate the return of the reseal member to its first position, closing the aperture (80) and collapsing the reservoir (100). The collapse of the reservoir (100) prevents the creation of a vacuum within the fluid passage (56) when the reseal member (58) returns to the first position.

L'invention concerne un site d'injection sans aiguille comportant un logement (16) définissant un passage (56) de fluide. On place à l'intérieur du logement (16) un élément (58) de joint à refermeture qui comporte un orifice (80) pouvant être ouvert ou fermé, et un réservoir (100) expansible et décompressible. L'élément de joint (58) à refermeture se trouve normalement dans une première position dans le logement, l'orifice (80) étant fermé et le réservoir (100) affaissé. L'élément de joint (58) à refermeture est déformable, de sorte qu'une pression de compression permet de lui faire prendre une deuxième position, dilatant le réservoir (100), ouvrant l'orifice (80) et faisant communiquer celui-ci (80) avec le passage (56) de fluide et le réservoir. Le retrait de la pression de compression facilite le retour de l'élément de joint à refermeture dans sa première position, provoquant la fermeture de l'orifice (80) et la décompression du réservoir (100). La décompression du réservoir (100) permet d'empêcher la formation de vide dans le passage (56) de fluide lorsque l'élément de joint (58) à refermeture retourne à la première position.
