A process for producing grafted plants by working a scion to form a sleeve that fits onto a corresponding exposed region formed from the woody core of a trunk, stem or branch of an established plant. The process can be repeated numerous times on an established plant with a minimum of equipment, knowledge, time, labour and cost while reducing infection, herbivory and physical defects associated with problems such as invasiveness of technique and poor physical stability associated with older grafting methods.
