A mobile terminal (102, 104, 106) for providing life observations comprising a processing entity (220) for processing data, a memory (222) for storing data, a wireless transceiver (224) for wirelessly transmitting and receiving data relative to external entities, such as a communications network infrastructure, an observation logic (300) for conducting active and passive observations on events, actions and/or properties detectable relative the mobile terminal in response to active and passive triggers, respectively, wherein each active trigger is associated with a triggering rule, such as a timing rule, for conducting a related observation, and each passive trigger is associated with a change in the observation environment, such as a certain event or action, the occurrence of which in the mobile terminal triggers conducting the observation linked to said passive trigger, and a data handling logic (350) for storing, analysing, and aggregating observation data points of the gathered observation data to timed observation data transmissions via the wireless transceiver towards an external entity. A server arrangement (112) for analysing, the analysis including both context and behaviour modelling, the observations collectively based on observation data provided by a plurality of mobile terminals and guiding the mobile terminals to conduct future observations on the basis of the analysis results is also presented. Corresponding methods are presented.
Un terminal mobile (102, 104, 106) permettant de fournir des observations de vie comprend une entité de traitement (220) pour le traitement de données, une mémoire (222) pour le stockage de données, un émetteur-récepteur sans fil (224) pour l'émission et la réception sans fil de données concernant des entités externes, telles qu'une infrastructure de réseau de communications, une logique d'observation (300) pour la réalisation d'observations actives et passives sur des événements, des actions et/ou des propriétés détectables par rapport au terminal mobile en réponse à des déclencheurs actifs et passifs, respectivement. Chaque déclencheur actif est associé à une règle de déclenchement, telle qu'une règle de temporisation, pour mener une observation liée, et chaque déclencheur passif est associé à un changement de l'environnement d'observation, tel qu'un certain événement ou une certaine action, dont l'occurrence dans le terminal mobile déclenche la réalisation d'une observation liée audit déclencheur passif. Le terminal comprend également une logique de gestion de données (350) pour le stockage, l'analyse et l'agrégation des points de données d'observation des données d'observation rassemblées pour des transmissions de données d'observation temporisées par l'intermédiaire de l'émetteur-récepteur sans fil vers une entité externe.
