PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: Procédé de mise à poste d'un satellite de télé- communications géostationnaire, dont la plate-forme est pointée vers le soleil et dont la charge utile est montée rotative de manière à rester pointée vers la terre. Le procédé consiste à utiliser la roue d'inertie du satellite, ainsi que ses senseurs et éventuellement son gyromètre deux- axes pour effectuer le contrôle d'attitude du satellite pendant tout le transfert, c'est-à-dire aussi bien sur l'orbite de transfert qu'au cours du tir d'apogée.
