An oxygen-absorbing packaging material (100) is provided. The material comprises a base layer, an oxygen absorbing composition disposed on at least one side of the base layer, a film layer disposed on the oxygen absorbing layer, and printed indicia (160) to indicate information relating to a product to be contained within the packaging material. The oxygen absorbing composition comprises an oxygen absorbent contained in an emulsion. The printing appears on either or both of the base layer and film layer. The oxygen absorbing composition can be on one or both sides of the base layer, so long as it is covered by the film layer.

Ledit matériau comprenant une couche de base, une composition absorbant l'oxygène disposée sur un côté de la couche de base, une couche de film disposée sur la couche absorbant l'oxygène, et des indices imprimés indiquant des informations concernant un produit destiné à être contenu dans un matériau d'emballage. Ladite composition absorbant l'oxygène comprenant un agent d'absorption d'oxygène contenant dans une émulsion. L'impression apparaît sur la couche de base et/ou sur la couche de film.
