ABSTRACT In a flexible mount, in particular for supporting propulsion systems in motor vehicles, with a supporting arm that extends to the side from the propulsion system and which rests on a rigid support through an elastomer body, in order to ensure simple adjustment of the spring characteristics of the elastomer body and to ensure amenability to recycling, the present invention proposes that the supporting arm (1) be of approximately cruciform cross-section with webs (4-7) that extend obliquely at the sides; in that rubber bodies (10, 13-15) that are elongated and of prismatic cross-section and which are cut off from a continuous extrusion are inserted between the webs (4-7) to provide vertical and horizontal support, these then being enclosed by a housing (20) that is open, on the engine side and secured to the support (25) (figure 1).
