The present invention relates to disposable absorbent articles (20) such as sanitary napkins (20), panty-liners and incontinence pads that have side wrapper elements (50), also called wings (50) for folding around the side edge of the article (20). The components are provided in a delivery position in which each of the side wrapping elements (50) is folded upwards onto the wearer facing surface (38) of the absorbent article (20) and back onto itself. In this position the side wrapping elements (50) can be unfolded by pulling the outermost edge of each side wrapping element (50) in a transverse direction. The side wrapping elements (50) are maintained in the delivery position by a separable delivery attachment means (60), preferably provided by crimping, between the wearer facing side (38) of the side wrapping elements (50) and the absorbent article (20).
La présente invention concerne des articles absorbants jetables (20), tels que les serviettes hygiéniques (20), les protège-slips et les coussinets d'incontinence, pourvus d'éléments latéraux d'enveloppement (50) ou rabats (50) se repliant autour des bords latéraux des sous-vêtements du porteur. Ces composants sont livrés dans une position telle que chacun des éléments latéraux d'enveloppement (50) est plié vers le haut sur la surface de l'article absorbant (20) destinée au contact avec le porteur (38), puis replié sur lui-même. A partir de cette position, les éléments latéraux d'enveloppement (50) peuvent être dépliés en tirant latéralement sur l'extrémité extérieure de chacun desdits éléments (50). Les éléments latéraux d'enveloppement (50) sont maintenus en position de livraison par des fixations de livraison détachables (60), réalisées de préférence par serrage, entre le côté de l'élément latéral d'enveloppement (50) en contact avec le porteur et l'article absorbant (20).
