An apparatus for establishing a correction characteristic curve for a reduction of artefacts in a tomography comprises a means (10) for providing projection data of the object, wherein the projection data comprise transmission values for the object, a means (12) for calculating a representation of the object from the projection data, to obtain two or three-dimensional representation data for the object, a means (14a) for determining a measure for the transmission length of the object by using the representation data, a means (14b) for determining a transmission value, which is associated to the determined measure for the transmission length, and a means (16) for generating the correction characteristic curve of several determined measures for transmission lengths and associated transmission values, wherein a precorrection of the projection data can be performed by using the determined correction characteristic curve, to iteratively determine the correction characteristic curve by using the precorrected transmission values. This concept for establishing a correction characteristic curve requires no reference object measurements or other information about the condition of the radiation source, the object, and so forth.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de création d'une courbe caractéristique de correction pour la réduction des artefacts d'une tomographie. Ce dispositif comprend un équipement (10) destiné à préparer des données de projection de l'objet, ces données de projection contenant des valeurs de radiographie de l'objet ; un équipement (12) destiné au calcul d'une représentation de l'objet à partir des données de projection afin d'obtenir des données de représentation bidimensionnelle ou tridimensionnelle de l'objet ; un équipement (14a) destiné à déterminer une mesure de la longueur radiographique de l'objet à l'aide des données de représentation ; un équipement (14b) destiné à déterminer une valeur radiographique qui est associée à la mesure déterminée de la longueur radiographique et un équipement (16) destiné à produire la courbe caractéristique de correction à partir de plusieurs mesures déterminées des longueurs radiographiques et des valeurs radiographiques associées. La courbe caractéristique de correction déterminée permet d'effectuer une correction préliminaire des données de projection pour définir de façon itérative la courbe caractéristique de correction à l'aide des valeurs radiographiques précorrigées. Ce concept de création d'une courbe caractéristique de correction ne nécessite aucune mesure d'objet de référence ni autres informations sur la nature de la source de rayonnement, de l'objet etc.
