A system for pneumatically conveying a bulk particulate material generally consisting of means for holding such material, having an inlet and an outlet; a first material transport line segment including a first conduit formed of a gas permeable material having an inlet communicating with the outlet of the holding means and an outlet, defining a material flow passageway, and a second conduit formed of a gas impermeable material spaced from and encompassing the first conduit, defining a plenum; a second material transport line segment including a first conduit formed of a gas permeable material having an inlet communicating with the outlet of the first conduit of the first segment, defining a continuation of the material flow passageway, and an outlet, and a second conduit section formed of a gas impermeable material spaced from and encompassing the first conduit thereof, defining a plenum; the second segment being displaceable relative to the first segment between a first position communicating the outlet of the first conduit of the second segment with a receptacle into which the material is to be conveyed, and a second position communicating the outlet of the first conduit of the second segment with the inlet of the material holding means; means for supplying has under pressure to the plenums, causing such gas to penetrate the first conduits to fluidize material flowing in the passageways and means for inducing the flow of material in the passageways, causing material induced therein from the holding means to be impelled therethrough.
Système permettant de projeter une matière particulaire en grande quantité, utilisant généralement un dispositif de rétention de ces matières, disposant d'une entrée et d'une sortie. Ce système comporte un premier segment de tuyauterie de transport des matières comprenant un premier conduit formé d'un matériau perméable au gaz et ayant une entrée communiquant avec la sortie du dispositif de rétention et une sortie formant une voie de passage pour le flux de matière, et un second conduit fait d'un matériau imperméable au gaz et espacé du premier conduit et placé autour de celui-ci, formant ainsi une chambre de répartition de l'air. Un second segment de tuyauterie de transport comprenant un premier conduit formé d'un matériau perméable au gaz et ayant une entrée communiquant avec la sortie du premier conduit du premier segment, permettant la poursuite du passage du flux de matière, et une sortie. Ce second segment comprend également un deuxième conduit formé d'un matériau imperméable au gaz et espacé du premier conduit et placé autour de celui-ci, formant ainsi une chambre de répartition de l'air. Le second segment peut être déplacé par rapport au premier segment, depuis une première position reliant la sortie du premier conduit du second segment à un réceptacle dans lequel la matière doit être transportée, et une seconde position reliant la sortie du premier conduit du second segment à l'entrée du dispositif de rétention des matières. Le dispositif d'alimentation affiche une pression négative dans les plénums, ce qui fait pénétrer le gaz dans les premiers conduits pour fluidifier les matières présentes dans la voie de passage, expulsant ainsi les matières qui y ont été amenées depuis le dispositif de rétention.
