A method and arrangement for withholding notifications with client data of an observed client (B) to a watching client (A) having an ongoing subscription for receiving the notifications from a client data server (502). In response to a subscription suspend trigger (5:1), the watching client sends a subscription suspend message (5:2,5:3) to the client data server indicating that client data notifications should be temporarily withheld while retaining said subscription. In response to receiving a subscription resume trigger (5:5), the watching client then sends a subscription resume message (5:6,5:7) to the client data server indicating that client data notifications should be delivered again. The watching client will then receive client data notifications (5:8) according to the retained subscription.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif pour retenir des notifications avec des données de client d'un client observé (B) à un client regardant (A) ayant un abonnement en cours pour recevoir les notifications provenant d'un serveur de données de client (502). En réponse à un déclenchement de suspension d'abonnement (5:1), le client regardant envoie un message de suspension d'abonnement (5:2, 5:3) au serveur de données de client indiquant que les notifications de données de client devraient être temporairement retenues tout en conservant ledit abonnement. En réponse à la réception d'un déclenchement de reprise d'abonnement (5:5), le client regardant envoie alors un message de reprise d'abonnement (5:6, 5:7) au serveur de données de client, indiquant que les notifications de données de client devraient être à nouveau distribuées. Le client regardant recevra alors des notifications de données de client (5:8) conformément à l'abonnement conservé.
