Disclosed herein are methods for suppressing an immune response in a subject, treating a neoplasm in a subject, or treating a fibroproliferative vascular disease in a subject, that includes administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of a 2-(4-piperazinyl)-substituted 4H-1- benzopyran-4-one compound, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, having the structure of Formula (A) wherein the presence of each of R1 and R2 is optional and R1 and R2 are each independently selected from alkyl, substituted alkyl, heteroalkyl, cycloalkyl, substituted cycloalkyl, heterocycloalkyl, substituted heterocycloalkyl, aryl, substituted aryl, heteroaryl, substituted heteroaryl, alkoxy, halogen, hydroxy, or amino.
L'invention concerne des procédés qui permettent de supprimer une réponse immunitaire chez un sujet, traiter un néoplasme chez un sujet, ou traiter une maladie vasculaire fibroproliférative chez un sujet, lesquels procédés consistent à administrer au sujet une quantité thérapeutiquement efficace d'un composé 4H-1-benzopyran-4-one 2-(4-piperazinyl)-substitué, ou un sel pharmaceutiquement acceptable de ce dernier, possédant la structure de la formule (A) dans laquelle la présence de chacun de R¿1? et R¿2? est facultative, et R¿1? et R¿2? sont chacun indépendamment choisis parmi un alkyle, alkyle substitué, hétéroalkyle, cycloalkyle, cycloalkyle substitué, hétérocycloalkyle, hétérocycloalkyle substitué, aryle, aryle substitué, hétéroaryle, hétéroaryle substitué, alcoxy, halogène, hydroxy, ou amino.
