La présente invention concerne des améliorations apportées aux dispositifs de tests laminés du type à détection de résultat positif par la figuration d'un symbole sur la surface du dispositif par suite d'un changement de couleur affectant un indicateur. Pour cette amélioration on a placé une couche d'indicateur sur une face d'une feuille de substrat transparent, et une couche de pigment sur l'autre face. La couche d'indicateur forme une icône. La couche de pigment forme le fond. Le pigment est de la même couleur que l'indicateur avant le changement de couleur. D'autres modifications dans la disposition des couches permettent également de réduire les erreurs concernant les résultats négatifs.
