This invention involves an installation and method for exploiting secondary oil deposits whose individual production capacities are not sufficient to justify investment in classic oil drilling equipment. - The installation involves the addition to a main platform equipped with conventional production facilities of a floating support equipped with a pumping system for transferring oil outflow, a system for anchoring the said floating support to the sea floor, an initial transfer system for moving oil outflow between the said deposits and the said floating support, and a secondary transfer system for moving oil outflow between the said floating support and the said main platform, with the said secondary transfer system resting on the sea floor. - The method involves using production capabilities available on the main platform to exploit secondary deposits, bringing the oil outflow up from the deposit to the floating support by means of a pumping system and the initial transfer system, and then sending it to the main platform by means of the secondary transfer system, without separation of constituants. - Application to the exploitation of secondary oil deposits.
La présente invention concerne une installation et une méthode permettant d'exploiter des gisements pétroliers secondaires dont les capacités individuelles de production sont insuffisantes pour justifier de l'investissement dans les dispositifs classiques d'exploitation pétrolière. - L'installation selon l'invention comporte en combinaison avec une plate-forme principale équipée des moyens de production habituels, un support flottant munie d'un système de pompage permettant le transfert des effluents pétroliers, des moyens d'ancrage connectant ledit support flottant au fond de la mer, de premiers moyens de transfert des effluents entre lesdits gisements et ledit support flottant, et des seconds moyens de transfert des effluents entre ledit support flottant et ladite plate-forme principale, lesdits seconds moyens de transfert reposant sur le fond marin. - La méthode selon l'invention se caractérise en ce que l'on utilise les capacités de production disponibles de la plate-forme principale pour le traitement des gisements secondaires, les effluents étant remontés depuis le gisement jusqu'au support flottant à l'aide d'un système de pompage et à l'aide de premiers moyens de transfert, avant d'être envoyé vers la plate-forme principale a l'aide des seconds moyens de transfert sans séparation de leurs constituants. - Application à l'exploitation de gisements pétroliers secondaires.
