The invention concerns a tyre designed to be mounted on a rim whereof the edges comprise round-shaped rim attachments, including at least two beads (3) and a reinforced casing (1) formed by at least one ply of reinforcing elements. Each bead (3) is coreless and said reinforced casing (1) has in each bead (3) a curved meridian profile viewed axially and radially inwards from outwards to form an axially inner ridge located in an angle .alpha. opening axially and radially inwards, said reinforced casing (1) being in each bead (3) reinforced at least radially outward and axially inward, by at least a first additional continuous layer (6), formed with inextensible circumferential reinforcing elements, and by at least a second continuous additional layer (7), formed with inextensible radial reinforcing elements, the two additional layers having profiles substantially parallel to the meridian profile of the reinforced casing in the bead.
