The invention relates to a solid-state radiation detector with a pixel matrix, each pixel that supplies an output signal dependent on the incident radiation having a conversion layer converting the incident radiation into charge, a storage capacitor for storing the charge and a transistor for reading out the charge, wherein the capacitance (C p) of the storage capacitor (7) is so small that because of the voltage (V p) dropping across the storage capacitor (7) the output signal of the pixel (2) exhibits, starting from a specific incident radiation dose (D p), a sublinear response referred to the radiation dose, as well as to a medical and/or treatment device with such a solid- state radiation detector.
