A system for constructing structural walls for buildings using blocks of compressed straw of known moisture content each contained within a waterproof and vapor permeable material packaging with additional attached hollow rectangular tubes of plastic or similar material inset into the 4 vertical corners of each block to allow the connecting of multiple blocks both horizontally and vertically using additional rectangular tubes and connectors fitted within the inset rectangular tubes of each block forming a complete wall.
