Roll-changing apparatus for a multi-nip calender an upright part (10) of the roll-changing apparatus having at least one vertical column (11), to which at least one horizontal beam (12) and, at its lower end, a carrier part (13) belong, and a roll-changing apparatus (1) of the roll changing apparatus further including a verti-cally moveable lifting carriage (14) which is fitted to the vertical column. Ac-cording to the invention for transporting the rolls (21,22) of the calender (2) in the lateral direction from the calender to the roll store (3) and vice versa, the roll-changing apparatus (1) can be conveyed between calender and roll store, while the lifting carriage (14) of the roll- changing apparatus (1) is immovable in the lateral direction with respect to the vertical column (11).

L'invention concerne un appareil de changement de rouleaux pour une calandre à lignes de contact multiples. Une partie debout (10) de l'appareil de changement de rouleaux présente au moins une colonne verticale (11) dotée d'au moins une traverse horizontale (12) et, à son extrémité inférieure, d'une partie porteuse (13). Ledit appareil (1) comprend également un chariot de levage mobile verticalement (14), monté sur la colonne verticale. Pour le transport des rouleaux (21, 22) de la calandre (2) dans le sens latéral, de la calandre à l'espace de rangement de la calandre et inversement, l'appareil de changement de rouleaux (1) peut être acheminé entre la calandre et ledit espace de rangement alors que le chariot de levage (14) de l'appareil (1) est immobile dans le sens latéral, par rapport à la colonne verticale (11).
