Method and apparatus for facilitating a commercial transaction between an account holder and a merchant. The account holder has an account that is associated with respective account information. The account information includes at least one criterion for pre- authorizing a transaction. When the consumer initiates a purchase transaction, a transaction approval request is generated which includes information relating to the commercial transaction. A purchase approval entity compares the received transaction approval request to the account information to determine whether the at least one criterion for pre- authorizing the transaction is satisfied. The transaction approval request is denied when a determination is made that the at least one criterion for pre- authorizing the transaction is not satisfied.
Procédé et appareil visant à faciliter une transaction commerciale entre un titulaire de compte et un commerçant. Le titulaire de compte détient un compte associé à des informations de compte respectives. Les informations de compte comprennent au moins un critère de préautorisation dune transaction. Lorsque le consommateur réalise une transaction dachat, une demande dautorisation de transaction est générée, cette demande comportant des informations liées à la transaction dachat. Une entité dautorisation dachat compare la demande dautorisation de transaction reçue aux informations de compte en vue détablir si le critère de préautorisation de la transaction est satisfait. La demande dautorisation de transaction est rejetée sil est établi que le critère de préautorisation de la transaction nest pas satisfait.
