A fire retardant thermoplastic polyester comprising a phosphorus containing additive and a high charring polymer containing benzene rings in its main polymer backbone and that has a softening point of no less than about 120 ~C exhibits improved fire resistance and no plate out of fire retardant additive during aging.
La présente invention concerne un polyester thermoplastique ignifuge comprenant: un additif contenant du phosphore; et un polymère à température de carbonisation élevée contenant des cycles benzène dans son squelette polymère principal et dont le point d'amollissement est supérieur à 120 ·C environ. La composition de l'invention possède une résistance au feu améliorée, sans migration vers la surface de l'additif ignifuge au cours du vieillissement.
