The present invention provides collapsible wooden animals in kit form, for rapid and easy assembly and dissasembly. The kit advantageously provides a wooden animal which can be assembled and dissembled by the end user. Also, when dissembled, the wooden animals, are significantly compact, which is desirable for packing, storage and transportation purposes. A preferred embodiment of the invention is concerned with a collapsible wooden reindeer. Also provided is a method of manufacture for the wooden animals of the instant invention in kit form.
