A child resistant closure including a container (16) and a cap (21). The container includes a body portion (11) defining a chamber, and a hollow neck (10) extending from the body portion. The cap is formed to fit around the neck and includes a base portion (20) and a lid portion (30) connected to the base portion with a hinge (60). At least one first engagement portion (42) extends from a lever portion (24) attached to the base portion, and is positioned to engage at least one second engagement portion (52) that is integrally formed in the lid portion. The engagement portions are located off set from a location diametrically opposite the hinge. The closure is in a locked position when the first engagement portion engages the second engagement portion. The closure is moved to an unlocked position when the lever portion is pushed inwardly to disengage the first portion from the second portion.
La fermeture de sécurité pour enfants de la présente invention comporte un contenant (16) et un capuchon (21). Ledit contenant comporte un corps (11) définissant une chambre, et un goulot creux (10) prolongeant ledit corps. Le capuchon, qui a une forme lui permettant de s'adapter sur le goulot, comporte une base (20) et un couvercle (30) reliée à ladite base par une articulation (60). Au moins une première partie, destinée à l'accouplement (22) et en saillie à partir d'une partie faisant office de levier (24) fixée à la base, est positionnée de manière à s'accoupler à au moins une seconde partie destinée à l'accouplement (52) qui fait partie intégrante du couvercle. Les parties destinées à l'accouplement sont en position décalée par rapport à un point diamétralement opposé à l'articulation. Cette fermeture est en position de verrouillage lorsque la première partie destinée à l'accouplement est accouplée à la seconde partie destinée à l'accouplement. Elle passe de sa position de verrouillage à sa position de déverrouillage lorsque l'on pousse la partie faisant office de levier vers l'intérieur afin de désaccoupler la première et la seconde parties.
